He is currently Adjunct Professor of Circular Economy at Wessex Institute of Technology in Southampton and Visiting Professor of Environment Management at Cranfield University in Bedford, UK. He is also board member of Italian National Agency of Digital Transformation. He has been involved in several worldwide international research projects and he is author of more than 120 scientific publications in wide fields of engineering. He’s currently member of several worldwide International Scientific Committee. He’s member of the Editorial Board of the Journal of Energy Engineering Science and Journal of Hydrology Science, from Publishing Group, New York, USA, of which is also Auditor Scientific Officer. He has also planned several high-technical engineering projects in environmental field. Since 1996 he is member of National Geographic Society and since 1996 member of New York Academy of Sciences. He was chairman of Italian National Environment Commission and has got Public Merit of Italian Prime Minister, awarded in 2011.

Dr. Daniele De Wrachien, PhD, recipient of the Albert Nelson Marquis Lifetime Achievement Award, is a distinguished hydrologist with over 50 years of academic and professional excellence. A full professor at the State University of Milan since 1986, he has held numerous leadership roles, including director of the Agricultural Hydraulics Department and board member of the Wessex Institute of Technology. Dr. De Wrachien has served as president of EurAgEng and as an editor-in-chief for several scientific journals. He is internationally recognized for his contributions to water resources management, irrigation technology, and environmental impact studies, and has authored over 150 scientific publications.

Dr. Assma EL Kaddouri holds a Ph.D. in Materials, Mechanics, and Civil Engineering, with a specialization in Electrochemistry, awarded in 2014 from the University of Grenoble. Currently, she is an Associate Professor at the LEMTA (Laboratory of Energy and Theoretical and Applied Mechanics) at the University of Lorraine. Since 2015, her research has focused on proton exchange membrane fuel cells (PEMFC), particularly on the performance and durability of the polymer membranes used in these devices. Her work involves advanced characterization techniques, including Nuclear Magnetic Resonance (NMR) and Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI), to better understand the degradation phenomena of ionomer membranes and to propose solutions to improve the reliability and longevity of fuel cells.

Adriano Péres earned his Bachelor's (1991), Master's (1993), and Ph.D. (2000) in Electrical Engineering from the Federal University of Santa Catarina (UFSC), Brazil. He served as a Full Professor at the Regional University of Blumenau (FURB) from 1994 to 2016 and has been an Adjunct Professor at UFSC, Blumenau, since 2016, contributing to the Power Electronics and Electrical Power Processing Research Group. He coordinated the Brazilian Power Electronics Conference (COBEP 2007) and the Brazilian Conference on Engineering Education (COBENGE 2011). His research focuses on voltage source inverters, DC-DC converters, and solar photovoltaic power generation.

Prof. Jose Juan Gonzalez (b. 1959), who holds a Juris Doctor Degree (Mexico, 1981), an LLM in Economic Law (Mexico, 1984) and a PhD in Environmental Law (Spain, 1999), is a full Professor and Researcher at the Metropolitan Autonomous University in Mexico. In addition to research and scientific service, he teaches the courses Property of Natural Resources, Tax Law and Environmental Law. He is also the chairman of the Mexican Institute for Environmental Law Research and Director of the Mexican Environmental Law Journal. Professor Gonzalez is a member of the National System of Researchers of the National Council of Science and Technology, Level III and author of 16 books, 18 chapters in books and more than 40 specialized articles, including the three-volume Environmental Law Treatise and the New Mexican Energy Law. He has also been editor of two collective books: Energy Justice and Energy Law published in London by Oxford University Press; and Poverty Alliviation and Environmental Law published in London by Edward Elwar Publishing. He is also member of the Governing Council of the IUCN Academy of Environmental Law and of the Academic Advisory Group of the International Bar Association, Energy, Environment and Infrastructure Law section, and a member of the Iberoamerican Association of Energy Law.

Dr. Yong Wei Tiong is a Senior Scientist at the Institute of Sustainability for Chemicals, Energy and Environment (ISCE2), Agency for Science, Technology and Research (A*STAR),Singapore. Her research focuses on decarbonization strategies through advanced waste-toenergy technologies, including anaerobic digestion and CO₂ gas fermentation, with a strong emphasis on sustainable biomanufacturing and the circular bioeconomy. She holds a PhD in Biosciences from the University of Nottingham and has led pilot-scale projects and cross-sector collaborations in food waste valorisation, biofertilizer development, and renewable energy integration. Dr. Tiong has authored over 25 peer-reviewed publications and is an active contributor to international conferences and industry–academia engagements.

Adrian Ioinovici, IEEE Fellow, is the Director of the Power Electronics based on Switched Capacitors (PESC) Center at Shanghai University of Electric Power, China, under the “One Thousand Foreign Experts Plan.” He also holds honorary professorships at several universities. He was named IEEE Fellow for his pioneering work in switched-capacitor converters and has served as Associate Editor for multiple IEEE Transactions. He is the author of Computer-Aided Analysis of Active Circuits (Marcel Dekker, 1990) and Power Electronics and Energy Conversion Systems, Volume 1 (Wiley, 2013). His research focuses on switched-capacitor converters and inverters, high-gain converters, and soft-switching techniques. He has published over 200 papers in IEEE journals and conferences.

Prof. Dai-Yeun Jeong is Director of the Asia Climate Change Education Center and Emeritus Professor of Environmental Sociology at Jeju National University, South Korea. He holds degrees in sociology from Korea University and a PhD in environmental sociology from the University of Queensland. From 1981 to 2012, he served as a professor at Jeju National University. His roles have included visiting professor at the University of Sheffield, President of the Asia-Pacific Sociological Association, government delegate to UNFCCC and OECD meetings, and member of Korea’s Presidential Commission on Sustainable Development. He has authored 60 research papers, 13 books, and led 100+ environmental projects.

Professor Dorrik Stow, FRSE is a leading expert in sedimentary systems with over 40 years of experience. He specializes in deepwater hydrocarbons, has led major industry collaborations, and authored 300+ scientific works, including Sedimentary Rocks in the Field and Vanished Ocean. A highly regarded speaker and educator, he has delivered training and consultancy worldwide. He is Emeritus Professor at Heriot-Watt University, Distinguished Professor in China, and a Leverhulme Emeritus Fellow. His forthcoming book, Energy Crossroads, explores the global energy transition.

Dr. Mikołaj Leszczuk is an Associate Professor at the AGH University of Krakow, Poland, with expertise in multimedia applications, particularly video technologies and digital video libraries. He holds a Ph.D. in Telecommunications from AGH and has served as an FP7 SEC and ICT Expert (Evaluator) for the European Commission. His research interests include Quality of Experience (QoE) and User Experience (UX) analysis, video quality assessment, and video summarization. Prof. Leszczuk chairs the Quality Assessment for Computer Vision Applications (QACoViA) subgroup within the Video Quality Experts Group (VQEG) and actively contributes to the Video Quality in Public Safety (VQiPS) Working Group. He is also a Senior Member of the IEEE.

Anandu Krishna Surendran is an Indian national with a Master’s degree in Biomass Technology, Sustainability, and Renewable Energy from the Technical University of Munich (2025). His thesis, “Harnessing Hydrogen for Sustainability,” focused on the role of digital platforms in promoting climate literacy and green hydrogen careers. With prior experience as a Mechanical Process Engineer in India, Anandu specializes in sustainable engineering, green hydrogen, and life cycle assessment. He is certified in climate action and circular economy, fluent in multiple languages, and currently based in Frankfurt, Germany.

Jens Martin with over a decade of experience at the intersection of energy, innovation, and strategy, Jens specializes in guiding organizations through complex transitions. His background combines consulting, strategic project leadership, and public policy engagement, including collaboration with multinational energy providers. Helena Nadais is a Chemical Engineer and Assistant Professor at the University of Aveiro, specializing in environmental sciences with a focus on water and wastewater treatment. She holds a Master’s degree in Chemical Engineering – Processes and Industry from Lisbon Technical University and a PhD in Applied Environmental Sciences from the University of Aveiro. Her research centers on sustainable wastewater treatment, energy recovery, and the valorization of industrial effluents. With an H-index of 19, she has authored 38 WoS-indexed publications and is actively involved in four national and international projects on material and energy recovery from waste.

Dr. Woo has a BS and MS in Mechanical Engineering, and he has obtained PhD in Mechanical Engineering from Texas A&M. He majors in energy system such as HVAC and its heat transfer, optimal design and control of refrigerator, reliability design of thermal components, and failure Analysis of thermal components in marketplace using the Non-destructive such as SEM & XRAY. In 1992.03–1997 he worked in Agency for Defense Development, Chinhae, South Korea, where he has researcher in charge of Development of Naval weapon System. He was working as a Senior Reliability Engineer in Refrigerator Division, Digital Appliance, SAMSUNG Electronics. Now he is working as associate professor in mechanical department, Ethiopian Technical University.

Masoud Taghavi is a Marie Skłodowska-Curie Postdoctoral Fellow at Dokuz Eylul University, Turkiye, under the Horizon Europe Program, supervised by Prof. Can Ozgur Colpan and Prof. Ibrahim Dincer. He previously held a postdoc at Chung-Ang University, South Korea (2023–2025), and earned his Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering – Energy Conversion in 2022. From 2018 to 2023, he led the Mechanical Engineering Department at TVU, Iran. His research focuses on hydrogen and fuel cells, LNG, CCUS, and sustainable energy systems. With over a decade of experience in HVAC, research, and teaching, he was named “Top Researcher” (2020) and “Top Lecturer” (2021 & 2022) at TVU.

He received his PhD in Animal Nutrition and Management from the Swedish University of Agricultural Sciences in 2004, became an Associate Professor in 2009, and a Full Professor in 2019. He is currently affiliated with the Vietnamese Biogas Association and Nong Lam University. With over 100 publications on animal methane emissions and biodigesters, his work focuses on sustainable livestock systems, methane reduction, and renewable energy. Through the MEKARN program, he has transferred technologies to farms of all sizes, promoting improved livelihoods and environmental sustainability in the Mekong region. His initiatives include integrating livestock with black soldier fly farming, developing low-cost plastic biodigesters (over 500,000 units installed), and utilizing biochar, forage trees, and local resources to enhance productivity while reducing environmental impact.

Prof. Ghada is a leading expert in AI, strategic technologies, asymmetric warfare, and energy engineering, with a Ph.D. in Electrical Power and Smart Systems. She is a Professor, CEO of Middle East IT, Vice President of the Arab Science and Technology Foundation, and Fellow at Nasser Military Academy. With over 60 published papers, 8 books, and 30+ supervised theses on AI and national security, she has made major contributions to innovation, defense strategy, and tech entrepreneurship. She was awarded the National Defense College Fellowship and serves on the advisory board of National Security and Strategy magazine.
